The Pro Commander™ IV is a very straightforward Headset Communication System allowing groups of up to 20 Users to jack in and be conferenced together (with an optional conferencing module to create groups of up to 3 x 20 or 60 Users). Receptacle Boxes are multi-channel so workgroups can be formed on the fly during work setup.
The Pro Commander™ IV is a Maintenance Communication System that consists of a Conferencing Panel and Headsets with Belt-Mounted Interfaces (BMI*). The Headset with the BMI is connected via an Extension Cord to a Receptacle Box. Customer-installed wiring connects the Receptacle Boxes in turn to the Conferencing Panel. The creation of the conference groups for the Maintenance Communication system is accomplished on the Pro Commander™ III. If not purchasing a Pro Commander™ III contact us about conferencing options.
The conference switch is a simple push-to-connect and push-to-connect matrix. All circuitry is contained within the belt-mounted Headset interfaces. All wiring for the same Zone and line may be daisy-chained to reduce system wiring costs. The central power supply makes this system extremely reliable and affordable to operate. Originally designed for use in nuclear power stations where reliability is of critical importance, this system is easily used for any industrial application.
