ABOUT DQ70-208: The DQ70-208 is a dual-sided, heavy-duty and intrinsically safe headset. With a noise-rejecting throat mic, noise-attenuating earcups and speech-enhancing receivers, every word can be heard crystal clear with no or minimum background noise. The noise-attenuating earcups make these headsets ideal for high-noise environments and can work up to 118dBC.
HIGH-QUALITY SOUND: The considered selection of professional microphone & receiver elements in SED® headsets provide best-in-class voice clarity while being used in commercial/industrial environments. Noise-rejecting Throat Mic and the speech-enhancing receivers can greatly highlight voice-over background noise and ensure every word is crystal clear.
SUPER COMFORTABLE: The headset cushion is made of skin-friendly, soft and breathable PVC foil with gel & foam-filled backing, giving the user a comfortable fit all day long wearing. Dual head straps enable users to have a fuss-free, comfortable fit while providing maximum headset stability. An adjustable behind-the-head steel tension band provides a better fit and leaves space for an external helmet to be worn over the head straps. The flex gooseneck microphone with positional stability ensures the arm retains its position of the microphone while in active situations.
GREAT DURABILITY: Heavy-duty and robust design, Mesh-mounted headsets, superior receivers and microphone quality. The connection cord is covered with SED® exclusive SEDFLEX™ jacket which can be used in extreme temperatures (-40°C to 60°C) and is chemically resistant to gasoline, ethanol, methanol, motor oil, and salt solutions.

What is Intrinsically Safe?
Intrinsically Safe means that the system is incapable of causing an explosion or being an ignition source in the presence of potentially explosive or combustible materials and gases. In other words, the equipment and wiring are incapable of releasing sufficient electrical or thermal energy under normal or abnormal conditions to cause the ignition of a specific hazardous atmospheric mixture in its most easily ignited concentration. OSHA and MSHA have many reports of fires caused by non-intrinsically safe systems. Preventing fire and explosions is a top priority for all industries worldwide.
